The JCE Sphere
J Christer Ericsson started his entrepreneurial adventures through the foundation of Container Safe J C Ericsson AB (lashing systems) in 1971, after which he soon entered into container leasing operations and offshore accommodation. Over time, the Ericsson family’s various holdings, here referred to as the JCE Sphere, grew into an international group of companies with operations mainly in Europe, North America and South America. In total, the companies within the JCE Sphere currently has some
10,000 employees.
Today, the JCE Sphere mainly includes the following entities: JCE Group AB, Consafe Invest, JCE Chile, JCE Brazil and Österbodarne Skogsförvaltning (forestry), together with its subsidiaries and associated companies.
In general, all companies within the JCE Sphere are operated as individual profit centers with their own P&L and balance sheet responsibility. However, whenever possible, synergies between companies within the JCE Sphere are explored, facilitated by a common ownership agenda. JCE Group AB  |

Consafe Invest is owned by Hampus Ericsson and Fabienne Gustafsson. Among other things, Consafe Invest holds 25% of JCE Group AB and is a shareholder / investor in Consafe Capital Advisors / Alcur.

The Ericsson family has various holdings and business interests in South America, primarily in Chile and Brazil. Chilean activities include forestry operations, saw mill & wood pellets, real estate & construction, private medical clinics and hardware distribution. The Brazilian operations include a major hardware distribution chain.
| Österbodarne Skogsförvaltning  |
Österbodarne Skogsförvaltning, owned by the Ericsson family, is involved in forestry operations and ownership. The forests are mainly located in the south-western parts of Sweden and significant emphasis is placed on an environmentally sound exploitation of the forests. The total managed forest land in Sweden amounts to around 16 000 hectares (39 500 acres).
